TERMS OF SERVICE

The JobKnob LLC

Effective Date: March 31, 2026


1. Services

The JobKnob LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides career growth services including, but not limited to:

  • One-on-one mock interviews
  • Resume revamps and reviews
  • Career consultation sessions

Services are delivered on a 1:1 basis between clients and a JobKnob consultant.


2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you meet this requirement.


3. Payments

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
  • Payment is due at the time of booking or as otherwise agreed upon.
  • Prices for services are listed at the time of purchase and are subject to change.


4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made 72 hours or more in advance are eligible for a full refund or reschedule.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session may not be eligible for a refund.
  • No-shows are non-refundable.
  • Refund requests can be submitted to contact.us@thejobknob.com.


5. Client Responsibilities

To get the most from our services, clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information (resume, job goals, etc.).
  • Attend scheduled sessions on time.
  • Communicate any changes or cancellations in advance.


6. Use of AI and Automated Tools

To enhance the quality and efficiency of our services, The JobKnob LLC may use artificial intelligence (“AI”) and automated tools as part of our service delivery. This may include, but is not limited to:

  • AI-assisted resume analysis, formatting, or optimization.
  • AI-assisted generation of interview preparation materials, career guidance, or feedback.
  • Automated scheduling, communication, or workflow tools.


Important disclosures regarding AI use:

  • Client-provided information—including resumes, career history, and session content—may be transmitted to third-party AI service providers (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI) for processing.
  • We select AI providers that offer contractual commitments against using customer-submitted data for model training. We review provider terms periodically to confirm continued compliance.
  • All AI-generated outputs are reviewed, validated, and/or supplemented by a human JobKnob consultant before being delivered to the client. AI tools are used to assist—not replace—our consultants’ professional judgment.
  • AI outputs are provided on an “as-is” basis and may contain errors or limitations. The JobKnob LLC does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content.
  • By using our services, you consent to the processing of your information through AI tools as described in this section and in our Privacy Policy. If you do not wish for your data to be processed using AI tools, you may notify us in writing before or during your engagement, and we will make commercially reasonable efforts to accommodate your request. Opting out of AI processing may limit certain service features.



7. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and resources provided by The JobKnob LLC (including templates, feedback documents, and session notes) are the intellectual property of The JobKnob LLC and may not be resold or redistributed without written permission.


8. Confidentiality

We treat all client information with strict confidentiality. Our consultants will not share your personal career information with third parties outside of what is outlined in these Terms and our Privacy Policy, including the disclosures in Section 6 regarding AI tool usage.


9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided “as is.” While we are committed to helping you succeed, The JobKnob LLC does not guarantee specific outcomes, including job placement or interview success. Results vary based on individual circumstances. This disclaimer extends to any AI-generated content or recommendations provided as part of our services.


10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The JobKnob LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including any damages arising from the use of AI or automated tools in service delivery. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the applicable service.


11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.


12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or on our website. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
